Terri joined Arkansas Wildlife Federation (AWF) as its chief executive officer in July of 2022. Her career in conservation and nonprofit leadership spans over 20 years.
Before coming to AWF, Terri was the Executive Director of the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust (NWALT) for 10 years. In that role, she led NWALT to become the first accredited land trust in the state, permanently protecting over 6,000 acres of land across 40 properties, and served in national leadership and conservation advocacy roles within the land trust movement.
She has served on various local, state, and national boards and councils, always with a core passion for the protection of wildlife. Terri was raised on a small farm in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in Environmental Sciences. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband, a local attorney, and their two daughters.
