Meet Our Leadership

Clinton (Clint) Le’Roy Coleman is the Assistant Coordinator of the Family and Community Fishing Program at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC). He has worked at the AGFC for 37 years, including 18 years at the Andrew Hulsey Fish Hatchery in Hot Springs, AR, and 19 years in his current position.

Clint helped create the award winning program that provides inclusive fishing opportunities for anglers in community ponds statewide utilizing bass, bream, catfish, and trout to encourage outdoor fishing activities. The program also incorporates a BB gun range, archery range, canoeing, and kayaking. Through statewide partnerships, these events also provide food, health screenings, and family fun, encouraging all members of the community to enjoy time in the out of doors.

Clint is a lifelong resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas where he lives with his wife of 41 years, Janice. When he isn’t leading community fishing events across the state, Clint enjoys being active in his church, playing music, and spending time with family and friends.

Miles Goggans is a native of Arkansas and lives south of Star City.  He has a government affairs practice and actively manages his family’s timberland in southeast Arkansas.

Miles was recently appointed to the Arkansas Forestry Commission and had served two terms on the state’s Pollution Control and Ecology Commission.

In 2022, the Arkansas Forestry Commission selected his family’s land as the Arkansas Tree Farm of the Year.  In his spare time, Miles enjoys enhancing wildlife habitat on his property, being with his bird dogs, hunting, and more.

Dustin Lynch is Chief of Research for the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. He holds a PhD in biological sciences from the University of Arkansas and a master’s degree in zoology from Oklahoma State University.

Dustin conducts surveys for rare and imperiled species across the state, while working with state and federal agencies, universities, and other partners on numerous research projects. He also develops conservation status ranks to prioritize conservation actions to protect rare species and natural communities in Arkansas.

Dustin has published scientific articles on many subjects, including hydrology- biology response relationships, the effects of drought on aquatic communities, occupancy modeling of rare fish species, the effects of urbanization on aquatic assemblages, the role of land conservation in protection of watersheds, and other topics relating to biology and conservation. He has also published a number of popular science articles on a variety of topics related to Arkansas’ wildlife. Dustin has worked with many taxonomic groups, including fish, crayfish, mussels, aquatic insects, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. He conducts a wide variety of outreach, including lectures, seminars, workshops, outdoor events, social media posts, and media appearances.

Dustin serves on graduate committees for students conducting aquatic research at several universities. His research interests include community ecology, stream ecology, phylogenetics, natural history collection management, and conservation biology. He is an avid birder, stream snorkeler, and photographer.

Derek is a proud Arkansas native born and raised in Pulaski County. His love of the outdoors began at an early age exploring the natural resources this state has to offer, from the cool waters of the Buffalo River to the to the gumbo mud of the Delta.

Derek is a graduate of Arkansas State University with a degree in finance. He is a Senior Bank Examiner for the Arkansas State Bank Department. His role at the Bank Department allows him to travel around Arkansas assessing the stability of financial institutions across the state.

He spends his personal time being involved at his church and life group, hunting, fishing, and honing his 3D archery skills. His passion for chasing wildlife and experiencing the outdoors has taken him all across our state and much of the U.S.

Amanda was born and raised in Cleburne County near beautiful Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River.

Amanda is an administrator at Westside Greers Ferry public schools. She shares her love of the outdoors with kids in her community through enrichment programs that include art, writing, fishing, and hands-on science experiments.

Her goal is to teach kids to enjoy all the beauty our state has to offer while preserving it for future generations to come.

Chris Colclasure is the Director of the Natural Resources Division of the Arkansas Department of Agriculture, a position he has held since September 2021. Chris guides the agency as they conserve and manage the states land and water resources.

Previously, Chris served as a Deputy Director at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for five years, supervising most of the major agency divisions during his tenure. He also spent 14 years at the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, serving three years as the agency director, and two years at the Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation Commission. Over Chris’ 23 years with the state of Arkansas, he has worked to conserve natural resources and improve fish and wildlife populations through collaboration and partnerships.

He currently serves as a commissioner on the Pollution Control and Ecology Commission, Arkansas Water Well Construction Commission, and the multi-state Arkansas River Compact Commission.

Chris spends his free time with family and friends enjoying the excellent hunting, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor recreation opportunities available in The Natural State.

Tiffany Osborne is a Wildlife Instructor with the University of Arkansas System. She grew up in rural western Pennsylvania and attended Gannon University on a soccer scholarship. Tiffany obtained a graduate degree in zoology from Western Illinois University.

She was a research assistant and studied mourning doves at Southern Illinois University.  She was employed by the U.S. Forest Service before moving to Arkansas in July 2012.  At the University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Forestry, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Tiffany teaches Natural Resource Management, Wildlife Management and Conservation, Dendrology, Wildlife Habitat Management, and Natural Resource Practicum. Tiffany’s extension appointment has her focusing on Arkansas 4-H education and training.

Her cornerstone Wonders of Waterfowl Workshop program has attracted young wildlife-enthusiastic students since its inauguration in February 2021. Tiffany assists with coordinating the statewide 4-H Wildlife Habitat Education Program.

Tiffany is an advisor and mentor to numerous students, including the University of Arkansas at Monticello Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society.  Tiffany resides in Monticello with her husband and daughter.  She enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, and beekeeping.

Shad Pearce is a 27-year public servant and entrepreneur.  He is an Arkansas State Representative, serving the 40th district. As a Law Enforcement Professional, with a degree in Criminology, he has dedicated his career to serving and protecting the public and currently holds the title of Captain, C-1 District, Arkansas Game & Fish Commission in which he supervises a team of law enforcement officers covering 6 counties in North Central AR.

As a self-employed entrepreneur, he has grown a successful rental, land, and light construction business.  He is also a cattle farmer.  Shad has always pursued personal growth and will continue to do so indefinitely.  As a person who values positivity and collaboration, he places emphasis on maintaining and developing strong relationships both personally and professionally.

Shad cares about his community, state, and country.  His interests include “anything outside” but most notably fishing, watching college football, boating, and working on heavy equipment.  His favorite past-time is cooking for his family & friends and hosting outdoor gatherings.

Shad has been a recovery diver, a youth baseball coach, a youth trap coach, and a youth group volunteer.  He is a life-long resident of Arkansas and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Richard comes to the Arkansas Wildlife Federation after completing a successful career as an environmental manager at Weyerhaeuser Company. His work initially implemented numerous forest sustainability initiatives on the company’s three million acres in Arkansas and Louisiana and progressed to overseeing environmental policy programs across Weyerhaeuser’s seven million acres in 11 southeastern states.

Richard’s focus and passion is the integration of forest management and ecological communities, including the protection of water quality and conservation of at-risk species. His work includes widely recognized initiatives to create a large-scale habitat conservation area for the federally listed red-cockaded woodpecker in Arkansas and develop a range-wide conservation program for a variety of upland pine community species along the Gulf Coast.

Richard is an active outdoorsman who is often found fishing on the lakes and streams in the Ouachitas. He also is an avid duck hunter, camper, hiker, and kayaker.

He serves on the board of directors at the Friends of the Ouachita Trail (FoOT) and is an active member of the Arkansas Fly Fishers.  He and his wife live in Pearcy. He has three children, five grands and one great-grand.
